🎉 Martin’s Big 60th Bash – A Night for the Ages! 🎉

Where do we even begin?! Saturday night at Bagley Sports and Social Club was nothing short of legendary as we celebrated the one and only Martin’s 60th birthday and what a celebration it was! 🥳

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was buzzing. The room quickly filled with friends, family, and familiar faces from all walks of Martin’s life each one there to raise a glass (or five) to the man of the moment. It wasn’t long before the music kicked in, the laughter started echoing around the room, and the dancefloor came alive.

And speaking of the dancefloor… let’s just say it’s rare to see Martin on that side of the decks! Usually, he’s the one keeping the crowd moving, but this time he was right in the thick of it — showing us all his unique and highly questionable dance moves. 😂

From enthusiastic spins to what can only be described as “interpretive chaos,” Martin gave us a full performance, arms flying, feet tapping (mostly in time), and hips doing their own thing entirely. It was like watching a mash-up between Strictly Come Dancing and Dad Dancing Championships 2025. But fair play..... he owned it!

The party vibe was unreal, there were more shots than a football team on tour, and the drinks were going down quicker than you could say “one more won’t hurt.” 🍻 The banter was flying, the laughter was loud, and by midnight, the energy in the room was still sky-high.

We can’t go without saying a massive thank you to a few key legends who helped make the night so special:

🎧 Andy from M&A Entertainment – you absolutely smashed it! DJing for another DJ is never easy (especially one watching your every move from the dancefloor), but you pulled it off perfectly. The tunes were spot on, the transitions were flawless, and you kept the place bouncing all night long. Hats off, mate — superb job! 🙌

🍹 Rob and the brilliant bar team – what a crew! You kept the drinks flowing faster than we could drink them (and that’s saying something!). Every round arrived with a smile, and somehow, even at the height of the madness, you all kept calm, cheerful, and in control. pure professionals. Massive respect to you all for keeping us hydrated… or should we say dehydrated in style! 😅

Every moment of the evening was packed with laughter, warmth, and that unmistakable feeling of being surrounded by good people. There were heartfelt toasts, questionable karaoke attempts, and plenty of emotional hugs (and possibly a few slurred “I love you, mate” speeches).

And as the lights came up and the music faded, one thing was clear, this wasn’t just a birthday party. It was a celebration of everything Martin is: a top bloke, a talented DJ, a loyal friend to so many, and someone who knows exactly how to bring people together.

So here’s to Martin’s 60th, a milestone that deserved nothing less than the full Sounds International treatment. You’ve made countless nights memorable for others, and it was brilliant to see everyone return the favour for you.

You might be 60, mate, but after seeing you on that dancefloor, we’re pretty sure you’ve still got the moves (even if your knees disagree today!). 💃🕺
